Large-scale symbolic abstraction by emerging New York artist Kevin Lawrence, built from totemic forms, glyph-like symbols, and ritualistic linear structures in a black, red, orange, cream, and white palette. The work has an ancestral, mythic quality, combining graphic abstraction with coded mark-making and a dense, rhythmic visual language.
